Compassionate, individualized acupuncture care, guided by experience and built on trust.
Choosing a healthcare practitioner is a personal decision. You deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for as an individual. I believe that good healthcare begins by listening.
My Journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine
Long before I knew I would become an acupuncturist, I knew I wanted to help people. Around that same time, I discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine. That calling led me to study at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York — now known as Pacific College of Health and Science. Graduating in 2011 marked the beginning of a journey that has now spanned well over a decade of clinical practice.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
During my clinical training, I completed an internship at a Veterans Affairs medical center in New York, providing acupuncture treatment for military veterans. That experience strengthened my commitment to becoming not only a more knowledgeable practitioner, but also a more compassionate one.
My Philosophy of Care
No two people are exactly alike. For that reason, I have never believed in treating diagnoses alone — I treat people. When a new patient comes to see me, my first priority is to understand who they are before deciding how they should be treated.
What You Can Expect From Your Care
When you come to my clinic, you can expect a calm, welcoming environment where your concerns are taken seriously and your questions are always welcome. Every treatment is individualized and evolves as your condition changes.
Education & Professional Background
I earned my Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York (now Pacific College of Health and Science) in 2011. Following graduation, I practiced acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in both New York City and Austin, Texas, before relocating to Helsinki. I continue to maintain my status as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in the United States.
A Commitment to Lifelong Learning
Over the years, I have continued to study several respected acupuncture systems, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Master Tung's Acupuncture, Dr. Richard Tan's Balance Method, electroacupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping therapy, and Tui Na medical massage.
What Success Means to Me
The answer is simple: seeing someone regain their health. Whether that means living without pain, sleeping through the night, breathing more comfortably, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling like themselves again, those moments remind me why I chose this profession.
